Rebuilding Ruth

Rebuilding Ruth is for women who have had the unexpected happen and need to rebuild their life. 

We are a faith-based organization that helps these strong, professional women obtain their bookkeeping certification. We also help them get the experience they need to build a new career or open their own business.

We equip them with knowledge, training, mentorship, and materials to succeed in rebuilding. These are women just like you and me. They may have lost their husband, gone through a divorce, or their spouse was disabled.  Any earth-shaking life event qualifies a woman to join Rebuilding Ruth.

Each woman is individually vetted to make sure they are a good fit. Requirements include a college degree in any field and squeaky clean background check. They then begin the bookkeeping certification and can be finished in as little as 4 months. While taking the course, we work with them to get give them hands on experience.

The outcome of Rebuilding Ruth is a woman fully equipped to start a new career with the requisite experience.

We will continue to mentor and guide these women in the crucial first few years of rebuilding by being available to answer questions, help build resumes, give references, and talk through problems.

We are different because we are NOT a charity program. 

While we do rely on donor support to pay for courses, certification exams, materials, and sometimes wages... each woman is given good and wholesome paid work to build her skill set.
